Software Tester

Summary of Position

Arrowhead seeks a professional to execute software test plans and ease efforts of fulfillment department. The successful candidate(s) must have superior written communication skills and a solid understanding of the software testing process. They must be capable of implementing effective testing for a range of projects- from highly structured projects requiring very formal documentation to informal projects requiring less formal (but still effective) quality control. While 85% of time is devoted to Quality Assurance there will be a 15% time contribution requirement to our fulfillment department. The successful candidate must possess exceptional organizational skills as well as the ability to follow Quality Control protocols. Additionally, they must be able to communicate and work effectively with others in a team environment and take responsibility for tasks critical to the team's success. They must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and wearing multiple hats when needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience in working in either quality assurance or software development environment or equivalent.
  • Experience with defect tracking systems and documenting defects found in software or equivalent.
  • Previous experience writing/executing test cases and recording results or equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of development methodologies and quality assurance models or equivalent.
  • High level of proficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Desirable

  • Experience working in a validated software development environment for medical applications or validating other systems to meet FDA requirements.
  • Experience validating IT systems against user requirements
  • Capability to work directly with customers during User Acceptance Testing
