Training
Effective training is an essential component of a project’s overall success, equipping study teams and subjects with the right knowledge and skills to actively use the device and its software. Arrowhead’s ePRO-LOG™ solutions are designed to enhance the four components of usability – learnability, efficiency, error management, and user satisfaction, alleviating the training burden. Moreover, we are continually evaluating the causes of errors to make our solutions more intuitive and user friendly.
Arrowhead’s approach to training involves three key learning concepts, Active Learning, Chunking, and Sequencing, to enable study team members and patients to easily use our ePRO-LOG™ solution. Active learning engages the learner to discover, process, and apply the information. Chunking divides the training into manageable “chunks” delivered in a logical, organized, and consistent manner to enhance the learner’s ability to understand how to use the device and its software. Sequencing content effectively links concepts together, introducing the device and software exactly how they will be used.
Clients can receive training from printed guides, the Internet, interactive CD, on the device, and in-person - whichever media accommodates their project. We address each training need – from device set-up to study-specific information - for patient, investigator site personnel, sponsor, and CRA. All patient materials are developed in local languages.
Patients complete ePRO-LOG™ training and take a quiz on the actual patient device to verify that they are ready to use the device and software. Results are immediately sent to our ePRO-LOG Study Portal™, allowing the study team to view the subject's data in real-time. If patients have any questions or difficulties using ePRO-LOG™, they can contact Arrowhead Customer Support by dialing a country-specific, toll-free number.
